Practical information



Length of stay :

From Sunday morning (reception between 9am and 1pm) to the following Saturday at 2pm. On request and at an extra charge of € 50 per person (free for children under 16), it is possible to come on the Saturday preceding the stay for dinner (rooms available from 4 pm).

If you spend two weeks, the half board between each week is offered.

Accommodation, Catering:

Accomodation is in 2, 3 or 4 rooms with full bathrooms (also possibility of single rooms or family rooms) according to the choice made during your registration.

Bedding is provided, however you must bring your personal toiletries. (Possibility to rent on site at the rate of 7 € for the week).

Meals are served in communal tables. We are attentive to the quality of food adapted to the practice of sports activities (breakfast buffet, balanced menus, tea return activities). Individual picnic lunches can be prepared on request to replace lunch on Saturday lunchtime.

Pets are not allowed.

Payment of stays:

We offer cancellation, interruption, deferral + repatriation assistance "Gritchen Affinity", which must be taken out at the time of booking. The cost of this is 2.5% of the total amount of your stay.

Special conditions:

- As the price of stays is fixed, late arrivals, early departures or unused services do not give rise to any refund.

- In case of too low participation, the Auberge Nordique reserves the right to cancel certain stays at least 15 days before the start of the course. In this case, all the sums paid will be repay without further compensation.


It is up to each participant to ensure that he / she is physically fit to practice the proposed sporting activities. Our rates do not include any insurance related to the practice of the proposed activities. On site, we offer the purchase of insurance including: civil liability, on and off-road assistance, ambulance transport to the nearest doctor, repatriation assistance service.


- Membership card: 5 € obligatory for all stays and valid from 1/10 to 30/09 of each year.

- Access card to the cross-country ski trails: Nordic Pass weekly adult: 36,50 € + support: 1 €

                                                                        Nordic Pass of children (up to 16 years old): 19,50 € + support 1 €

Possibility to refill your card of the winter 2016, do not hesitate to bring it back.

Membership cards and access passes are charged in addition to the prices indicated on the rate table.

Cross-country skiing or snowshoeing is provided every day from Sunday afternoon to Friday morning from 9:15 am to 11:45 am and in the afternoon from 2 pm to 5 pm (except Wednesday morning which is free). Depending on the time, motivation and level of practice one or more day excursion are organized during the stay.

Cross-country skiing:

Whether you are a beginner or a skier who has been practicing for several years, young or old, each one finds its place in one of the groups of different levels constituted as of Sunday afternoon (beginning of the session at 14:30).

We take great care at the beginning of the week to organize the groups so that each one enjoys an excellent progression of learning and a pleasure to discover our exceptional environment.

Depending on your current shape and level of participants, it is still possible to modify the choice of your initial program (discovery, sensation, escape, wide spaces or skating).

Cross-country skiing children and youth club:

Cross-country skiing courses for children are organized by age and level classes during the same time as the parents. The instructors take lunch with the children and provide supervision when the parents take part in the day trips. From 7 years old, a day trip allows the children to have unforgettable moments. On Friday, they take part in the technical progress tests and a race at the end of the course.

Biathlon :

From Sunday afternoon to Friday evening: 4 sessions of 2 hours of biathlon, skating sessions and 2 half-days of free skiing.

Snowshoeing :

Nature hike or escape: morning and afternoon or full day, snowshoeing adapts to all. Depending on the number of participants, groups of levels are trained on all services at their own pace.


To improve your stay, a SAUNA space is at your disposal every day on your return from skiing. To take advantage of this facility, bring a towel or a bathrobe and a swimsuit.

Some articles: games, movies, slideshows, music and folk dance, the evening of the tales are also the occasion of entertainment always more appreciated. A dance party will close the week Friday night after the Savoyard meal taken with your instructors.


For all stays:

- Toilets and sanitary facilities,

- Swimsuit (sauna and swimming pool in the center of the Joyère).

- Sunglasses, sunscreen, personal pharmacy.

- Clothing suitable for a stay in the snow: cross-country skiing or sportswear, warm clothing, hats, gloves, weather-resistant K-way clothing, spare clothes, small backpack, water bottle.

- A reusable "cup, knife, cutlery" designed to reduce the consumption of disposable packaging.

All equipment: skis, poles, shoes or snowshoes are provided during the stay. For snowshoes, we recommend to use your personal hiking boots for better comfort. A flate rate reduction of 20 € is given to people who have their complete equipment and do not use the facilities of the Auberge Nordique.
